The Virginia State EMS Advisory Board includes various committees and groups, such as the Communications, Emergency Management, and Financial Assistance Review Committees. There are also specialized groups like the EMS for Children Committee, Medical Direction Committee, and the Provider Health and Safety Committee. Additionally, there are focused workgroups for legislative planning, trauma systems, and comprehensive EMS code clean-up. These committees collectively address a wide range of topics from legislative issues and financial aid to trauma care and health safety for providers.
