DESCRIPTION:WHEN: March 29th-30th\, 2023 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm \nWHERE: Blue Hills 911 Center \n1830 Blue Hills Cir NE\, Roanoke\, VA 24012 \nDETAILS: This training is a 15-hour course that provides training on the advanced resource management provisions of the Incident Command System (ICS). Course topics include explaining the special management challenges of major incidents such as unified command\, multi-agency coordination systems\, and emergency operations centers\, as well as explaining how Multi-Agency Coordination Systems (MACS) are established and interface with emergency operations centers. \nPREREQUISITES: Applicants must submit document completion of all of the following prerequisites. Certs or transcript of: (Required) IS 100\, IS 200\, IS 700\, and IS 800 and ICS 300.  POC below \nREGISTRACTION: Registration is OPEN and will most likely fill fast.  To register\, log-in to the Commonwealth of Virginia Learn Center: https://covlc.virginia.gov/.
