DESCRIPTION:As emergencies and disasters are becoming more complex\, the need for collaboration across multiple disciplines and jurisdictions is crucial. The Near Southwest Preparedness Alliance (NSPA) is partnering with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) to bring together local governments\, state agencies\, non-profit and non-governmental organizations\, hospitals\, healthcare organizations and institutes of higher education for a regional emergency management summit.
